The Smith quality tanks are available in horizonal and vertical configurations, and typically include either stainless steel or mild steel with factory-applied FDA/USDA approved interior lining and factory-applied external insulation with alluminum or stainless steel jacket. The tanks can be supplied pre-piped with electrical controls, pumps, heaters and sterile units housed in an insulated skirt (vertical tank) or an adjacent pump room (horizontal tank). Installation of tanks, stainless steel or aluminum piping, heater, pumps, meters and other equipment is available.
